Rows has been acquired. Rows has joined Superhuman, and its site now directs users to Superhuman Docs.

About Rows

Rows is a browser spreadsheet designed for teams that pull data from other services. It keeps familiar formulas but adds integrations as functions, so a cell can fetch data from analytics, ad, CRM or finance tools and refresh automatically, along with data tables, charts and shareable pages that look more like reports than grids. An AI assistant can extract tables from PDFs, clean data and write summaries or formulas. Rows has announced that it joined Superhuman, the company that also owns Grammarly and Coda, and its site now points users towards Superhuman Docs, so its long-term future as a separate product is uncertain. The existing plans remain listed: a free tier with limited AI tasks and integrations, then Plus and Pro plans priced per month and per user. It runs in the browser. It suits small teams building lightweight dashboards and reports, but anyone choosing a tool now should weigh the acquisition.

Best for: Small teams building live reports from SaaS data in a spreadsheet format.

Pros and cons

What works

  • Published sheets look clean enough to share as reports
  • AI extracts and analyses data from PDFs and imports

Why people leave

  • Future uncertain after joining Superhuman
  • Not a relational database; records and permissions are basic
  • AI task limits are tight on the free plan
