About Sourcetable
Sourcetable is a browser spreadsheet built around an AI assistant. You can type requests in plain language and it writes formulas, builds pivots and charts, cleans data, generates sample data or produces an Excel-compatible model, while data connectors pull from databases and business tools so the sheet stays current. Pro plans add a Python and data-science toolkit, a SQL editor and query builder, deeper research features and premium models from providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. It is aimed at founders, finance staff, marketers and analysts who know spreadsheets but want to skip writing formulas and scripts. Pricing uses credits: a free tier with a monthly credit allowance and paid tiers per user per month with more credits and features. It runs in the browser. Because the AI does much of the work, results need checking, and teams with strict data rules should review how data is sent to model providers. It is not a relational database for structured records.
