About Appliku

Appliku is a deployment dashboard that manages apps on servers you rent yourself, such as Hetzner, DigitalOcean, AWS or any Ubuntu machine. You connect a server and a Git repository, and Appliku builds your app with Docker, configures nginx and HTTPS, runs databases and background workers, and redeploys on push, so you get a Heroku-like workflow while paying the cloud provider directly for cheap servers. It is especially aimed at Django developers, with guides and defaults for Django, Celery and Postgres, although other Python, Node.js and Docker apps work too. Pricing is a fixed monthly fee for Appliku itself, starting with a free plan for one server and one application, then Hobby, Growth and Business tiers that add servers, apps and cluster features. Because the servers are yours, you keep root access and avoid lock-in, but you are also responsible for their size, security updates and backups.
