About Northflank

Northflank is a developer platform built on Kubernetes that hides most of Kubernetes. You deploy services and scheduled or manual jobs from Git or container images, add managed databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis, and set up pipelines, preview environments and release flows through a web UI, CLI, API or templates. A distinguishing feature is bring-your-own-cloud: the same platform can deploy into your AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or other Kubernetes clusters, so data and spend stay in your account. GPU workloads and secure sandboxes for AI agents are also supported. Billing is by resources used, to the second, with no per-seat fees; a free Sandbox tier needs no card and covers a couple of services, jobs and a database, and paid usage is pay-as-you-go on Northflank's cloud or a platform fee for BYOC. It is more capable than simple PaaS options, which also means more concepts to learn.

Best for: Engineering teams that want PaaS convenience with the option to run in their own cloud.
