About COROS

COROS makes GPS sports watches (PACE, APEX, VERTIX, NOMAD) and a bike computer, and the COROS app is where you set them up, sync workouts and review your training. The phone app handles routes, structured workouts, training plans and an activity journal, while the browser-based Training Hub adds deeper analysis, a drag-and-drop training calendar and tools for coaches who manage athletes or teams. Routes can be pulled in from Strava, RidewithGPS and Wikiloc. The software itself costs nothing: there is no subscription layer like some rivals have, and you pay only for the hardware. The trade-off is that the app is built around COROS devices, so it's only useful if you own one. It suits runners, trail runners, cyclists and climbers who want long battery life and solid training analytics without paying monthly. It runs on iOS and Android, with the Training Hub on the web.

Best for: Runners and endurance athletes who own a COROS watch and want free training analysis.
