About Cronitor
Cronitor started as a cron job monitor and now covers most scheduled and always-on work in a typical app. Jobs report start, finish and failure events, so you get alerts for missed runs, failures and jobs that run too long, plus history of duration and output. SDKs and a CLI can discover crontabs and wrap jobs automatically, and integrations exist for Kubernetes CronJobs, Sidekiq, Celery and others. It also includes uptime and API checks, browser checks, real user monitoring and hosted status pages, making it a lighter alternative to bigger monitoring suites for small teams. A free hacker plan covers a handful of monitors for homelabs and side projects. The business plan has no base fee and charges per monitor and per user each month, starting with a free trial. It is a hosted web service.
Best for: Teams that want detailed cron and background job monitoring plus basic uptime checks.
