About Formidable Forms
Formidable Forms is a WordPress plugin that goes beyond contact forms. Alongside a drag-and-drop builder and templates, its strength is working with data: advanced calculations for quotes, mortgage or pricing calculators, repeater fields, and Views, which display submitted entries on the front end as directories, listings, tables or calendars. That makes it popular for building small form-driven applications such as job boards or member directories inside WordPress. Paid tiers add payments, surveys and polls, quizzes, user registration and integrations with email and CRM tools; a free Lite version on WordPress.org covers basic forms. Licences are yearly by number of sites, and the vendor often advertises first-year discounts. The flexibility brings complexity, so it takes longer to learn than WPForms, and it only works on WordPress. It suits WordPress developers and site owners who need calculators or want to display form data on their site.
Best for: WordPress builders creating calculators, directories or other form-driven apps.
