About Ninja Forms

Ninja Forms is a long-standing WordPress form plugin that started in 2011 as a volunteer project. Its free core plugin gives you a drag-and-drop builder, common field types, basic templates, email notifications and entry storage in WordPress. Extra features come through add-ons, which can be bought individually or in bundles: conditional logic, multi-part forms, file uploads, payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal, and connections to email marketing tools, CRMs and Zapier. Paid membership plans include groups of add-ons at a yearly price, and like other WordPress plugin vendors it often promotes first-year discounts. The model lets you pay only for what you need, but costs can add up if you need several add-ons, and the builder is less polished than some newer competitors. It runs only inside WordPress on your own hosting. It suits WordPress users who want a free starting point and are happy to add features piece by piece.

Best for: WordPress users who want a free form plugin and to add paid features one by one.
