About SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey has been a go-to survey tool for more than two decades. It is built for questionnaires rather than general data-entry forms: you start from hundreds of expert templates or an AI-generated draft, add question logic and randomisation, and analyse results with filters, cross-tabs, sentiment analysis, word clouds and benchmarks. SurveyMonkey Audience lets you buy responses from a research panel when you don't have your own audience, and team plans add shared libraries, approvals and admin controls. It integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and more, and the company also owns the Wufoo form builder. A free Basic plan exists but is very limited, and paid plans are priced per user with annual billing; the pricing page shows prices in local currency. Costs can climb for teams, and extra responses beyond plan limits are charged. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps. It suits businesses that run regular customer, employee or market surveys.

Best for: Businesses running regular customer, employee or market research surveys.
