About GoodData
GoodData is a business intelligence platform that leans towards analytics as a product feature rather than only internal reporting. It has the usual dashboards and self-service reports, but its strengths are a shared semantic layer of reusable metrics, multi-tenant workspaces for serving many customers from one setup, and embedding through iFrames, web components and React and Python SDKs. Much of the setup can be managed as code and kept in Git. Newer releases add an AI assistant, an agent builder and an MCP server, with a choice of language model. GoodData Cloud is the managed option, and a self-hosted deployment is available on request. Pricing is per workspace plus a platform fee, with unlimited users and data, which suits SaaS companies offering analytics to their own customers; there is a free trial, but prices are quoted by sales. Teams that only need internal dashboards may find simpler, cheaper tools.
