About GraphPad Prism

GraphPad Prism is a desktop app that combines statistical analysis with publication-quality graphs, aimed at biologists, pharmacologists and other lab researchers. Data goes into structured tables that match common experiment designs, and Prism then guides you to suitable tests such as t-tests, ANOVA, survival analysis and nonlinear curve fitting, keeping graphs linked to results so they update when data changes. The Pro tier adds multiple-variable analyses, clustering and multifactor ANOVA, and Prism Cloud lets teams share and discuss projects. It runs on Windows and Mac. Licensing is mainly by annual subscription for individuals or groups, with cheaper academic and student pricing and monthly options for short projects; a perpetual licence still exists but gets no upgrades. It is easy to learn compared with SPSS or R, but expensive for what it does and less flexible for scripted or very large analyses.

Best for: Life-science researchers who need common statistics and journal-ready graphs without coding.
