About Hive

Hive is a project management platform that mixes task tracking with communication. Projects can be shown as Kanban boards, Gantt charts, tables, calendars and portfolios, and actions carry subtasks, dependencies, approvals and time tracking. What sets it apart is that chat, notes, meeting notes and an email integration live in the same app, so a message can be turned into a task without switching tools. Automations, intake forms, resourcing and goals are available on higher plans, and AI features help write notes and summarise work. It suits marketing, operations and agency teams that want something between Asana and monday.com in feel. Many features are sold as add-ons, so the bill can climb. There is a free forever plan for light use, then per-user Starter and Teams plans and an Enterprise tier. Hive runs in the browser with desktop apps for Mac and Windows and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Best for: Teams that want project views plus chat and email in a single workspace.
