About IDrive

IDrive is a long-running backup service that lets one account back up as many PCs, Macs, phones and servers as you like into a shared storage quota. It supports continuous and scheduled backups, image backups for Windows, an optional private encryption key so IDrive cannot read your data, and a courier service that ships a physical drive for faster initial upload or restore. A sync folder and file sharing are included, though they are secondary to backup. IDrive also backs up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts on business plans and sells S3-compatible e2 object storage separately. There is a small free plan, personal plans priced by capacity, and team and business tiers. Apps run on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, plus the web. The interface is dense and the first-year discounts can make renewal prices a surprise.
