About Katana

Katana is cloud inventory and manufacturing (MRP) software for small and midsize product makers: food and drink brands, cosmetics, furniture, apparel and similar businesses that both make and sell goods. It tracks raw materials and finished stock across locations, builds multi-level bills of materials, schedules work orders and updates costs as production happens, with a shop-floor app for workers. Sales and stock stay in sync with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Amazon, and it connects to QuickBooks Online and Xero for accounting. Batch tracking helps with recalls and compliance. There's an open API and an MCP server so AI assistants can read and update data. Pricing has two tiers: a free plan with all features but a 30-SKU limit and unlimited users, and a custom-priced plan that includes implementation and a dedicated team. It's for makers who've outgrown spreadsheets but don't want a full ERP.
