About LiveChat

LiveChat, from the Polish company Text, is one of the longest-running live chat products. It gives teams a fast, polished agent app for website chat, with canned responses, chat routing, visitor tracking, ecommerce integrations and the ability to see what a visitor is typing before they send. Messages from Messenger, WhatsApp and other channels can join the same inbox, a ticketing system handles follow-ups, and AI agents and assistants are available from the same company. LiveChat is popular with ecommerce and sales-led sites because chats can drive purchases. It is priced per user per month, with a free trial, and higher tiers add reporting and supervision features. The downsides are that it is focused on chat rather than full multichannel help desk work, AI features cost extra, and per-seat pricing adds up for large teams. It runs in the browser with desktop and mobile apps. It suits teams where real-time chat is the main channel.

Best for: Sales and support teams where live website chat is the primary channel.
