About OneTab
OneTab is a simple, free extension that collapses every open tab in a window into a single list page with one click. The tabs close, freeing memory and CPU, and you can restore them one at a time or all at once whenever you need them. Many people end up using it as an informal read-later or bookmark list for research sessions. Lists can be named, locked, exported and imported as plain text, or shared as a web page; newer versions add folders, notes, tasks and encrypted cross-browser sync. No sign-up is needed, and by design tab URLs are not sent to the developer unless you choose to share a list. It is available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and Chrome-compatible browsers such as Brave, Opera and Vivaldi can use the Chrome version. The catch is that lists live in browser storage, so uninstalling the extension can delete them; export regularly. It suits anyone drowning in tabs who doesn't want a full bookmark manager.
Best for: Anyone with too many open tabs who wants a free, one-click way to park them.
