About Shiori
Shiori is a small, open-source bookmark manager written in Go and distributed as a single binary. You can use it from the command line or through its web interface, add links with tags, and keep an offline, readable copy of each page so you can read it later even if the original goes away. It started as a self-hosted take on Pocket, and it can import bookmarks from Pocket exports and from the Netscape HTML format browsers use. Data can live in SQLite, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and it runs comfortably on small servers or in Docker. There are browser extensions for adding pages quickly. Shiori is free under the MIT licence and maintained by volunteers, so features arrive slowly and there are no official mobile apps. It suits developers and self-hosters who want something lightweight and scriptable rather than a feature-rich reading app.
Best for: Developers who want a light, scriptable self-hosted bookmark archive.
