About 2Do
2Do is a long-running indie task manager that tries to suit both simple checklists and detailed project planning. Lists, projects and checklists can be grouped, tasks can carry tags, start and due dates, locations, actions such as calling or emailing someone, and smart lists combine filters into saved views you open with one click. Mac users can open a separate window per project or view. Sync options include Dropbox, iCloud and CalDAV, and tasks can live alongside Apple Reminders. Pricing is refreshingly old-fashioned: the Mac app is a one-time purchase with a free trial, the iPhone app is a separate one-time purchase (the iPad version is sold separately), and the Android app is free with an optional Pro upgrade. It is also on Setapp. The trade-offs are no web app, no Windows version, and a dense interface that takes some time to configure.
Best for: People who want a powerful task manager without a subscription across Mac, iOS and Android.
