About Everdo

Everdo is an independent task manager built around Getting Things Done. It has an inbox, next actions populated automatically from parallel or sequential projects, waiting and someday lists, areas of responsibility, tags for contexts and people, checklists inside actions, scheduled and recurring tasks, and a focus list for what matters now. Apps work entirely offline without an account, and you choose how to sync: free local-network sync between your own devices, or an end-to-end encrypted online sync service for a small ongoing fee. The free version limits you to five projects and two areas; Pro is a one-time purchase that removes those limits on every platform. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, with Chrome and Firefox capture extensions. The interface prioritises information density over minimalism, and there is no web app or collaboration, but it is one of the few GTD apps that is cross-platform, private and subscription-free.

Best for: GTD users who want a private, offline-first app on every platform without a subscription.
