About Atomic Wallet
Atomic Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet that holds hundreds of coins and tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Monero, in one app. Private keys are created and encrypted on your device and backed up with a 12-word recovery phrase, and no account or identity check is needed to use it. Inside the app you can swap between coins through partner exchange services, buy crypto with a card through third-party providers, and stake assets such as Ethereum, Solana, Cardano and Cosmos for rewards. The wallet itself is free; costs come from network fees and the spreads or fees on swaps and purchases. Desktop versions cover Windows, macOS and several Linux distributions, and there are mobile apps, though the iOS app has been temporarily unavailable on the App Store. The app is closed source, and Atomic suffered a large theft of user funds in 2023, which matters for anyone choosing where to keep significant savings.
Best for: Holders of many different coins who want one desktop and mobile wallet with swaps and staking.
