About Xverse

Xverse is a self-custody wallet focused on Bitcoin and the things built on it: Ordinals inscriptions, Runes and BRC-20 tokens, plus layer-2 networks such as Stacks, Starknet and Spark and the Lightning Network. It now pitches itself as an onchain Bitcoin bank, adding yield on stablecoin balances, borrowing against BTC, a virtual account for fiat transfers and a card, all without the company holding your keys. It runs as a browser extension for Chrome, Brave and Arc, as iOS and Android apps, and as a web portfolio dashboard. Ledger and Keystone hardware wallets are supported, and multisig vaults are available through Asigna. The code is open source and audited by Least Authority, and the wallet itself needs no identity check, though third-party on-ramps and the card may. Using the wallet is free; you pay network fees. It suits Bitcoin collectors and DeFi users who want Ordinals and layer-2 support that general multichain wallets handle poorly.

Best for: Bitcoin users who hold Ordinals, Runes or use Bitcoin layer-2 apps.
