About Safe{Wallet}

Safe{Wallet}, formerly Gnosis Safe, is a smart-contract wallet for Ethereum and other EVM networks where moving funds needs approval from a set number of signers, such as two of three or three of five. Each signer can use their own wallet, a hardware device like Ledger or Trezor, an MPC provider or the Safe mobile app. Transactions are proposed, decoded, simulated and checked for risks before signers approve them, and an activity record shows who did what. DAOs, foundations, protocol teams and companies use it for treasuries, payroll and contract upgrades; individuals use it for extra protection on large holdings. A transaction builder and hundreds of integrated Safe Apps let you batch and run DeFi actions without code. Creating and using a Safe is free apart from network fees; the paid Safe Pro plans add workspaces, onchain policies, gas sponsoring and support for businesses. The wallet's code is open source under GPL-3.0.
