About Flipkart
Flipkart is one of India's two biggest online marketplaces, alongside Amazon India. It sells nearly everything, from phones, laptops and large appliances to clothing, furniture, books and groceries, with most listings coming from third-party sellers on its platform. It is known for big sale events, especially around Diwali, and for payment options that matter to Indian shoppers: cash on delivery, UPI, cards and no-cost or bank EMI plans on larger purchases. Returns, exchanges and replacements are set per product by the seller, so the return window varies. Flipkart is part of a group that also runs the fashion store Myntra, the budget marketplace Shopsy and the travel site Cleartrip, and it is majority-owned by Walmart. Shopping is free; an optional membership tier and a SuperCoins rewards scheme add perks. It works on the web and in Android and iOS apps, and delivers only within India.
Best for: Shoppers in India who want wide choice, sale-day prices and cash-on-delivery or EMI payment.
