About Fresha
Fresha combines appointment software for beauty, wellness and fitness businesses with a public marketplace where consumers search for and book local salons, barbers, spas and clinics. On the business side you get a calendar with columns per team member, online booking through your own link, Instagram and Facebook, client records, payments, point of sale, marketing emails and texts, and team shift management. Fresha used to be known for being free; it now charges a monthly subscription for independents or a fee per bookable team member, with a seven-day trial, plus payment processing fees and a one-time commission when a brand-new client finds you through the marketplace. Returning clients carry no marketplace fee. It runs in the browser with iOS and Android apps for both partners and customers. The marketplace can bring real bookings in busy cities, but the combination of subscription, commission and processing fees needs a careful look against flat-priced rivals.
