About Hiver
Hiver started as a way to manage shared inboxes like support@ inside Gmail, and that remains its core. Teams can assign emails, add internal notes, set statuses, track SLAs, use shared templates and see analytics without leaving Gmail, which makes adoption easy for teams who already live there. It has since grown into an omnichannel platform with live chat, voice, WhatsApp and a knowledge base, plus AI agents and a copilot, and also offers a standalone Hiver Omni app for teams that want a dedicated workspace. It is used for customer support and for internal teams such as finance and HR. Pricing is per user per month with a free trial. Being tied to Google Workspace is a limitation for teams on Microsoft 365, and very complex routing is easier in a full help desk. It runs in the browser, inside Gmail, with mobile apps. It suits Google Workspace teams that want help desk structure without a new tool.
Best for: Google Workspace teams that want to run support from Gmail.
