About Itsycal
Itsycal is a small free Mac utility by developer Mowglii that puts a calendar in the menu bar. Click the icon and a compact month grid appears with your upcoming events listed underneath, pulled from the calendars you already have in the Mac Calendar app, whether those are iCloud, Google or Exchange. You can create events, join video meetings from event links, show ISO week numbers, display up to two months at once, use keyboard shortcuts including Vim-style motions, and replace the system clock with a configurable date and time format. It supports dark mode and several font sizes. Itsycal is free, and builds are available for current and older macOS versions. Because it relies on the Mac's own calendar database, it is not a full calendar app: there are no week or day views, no task features and no sync of its own. For many Mac users it is the quickest way to glance at the date and their next meeting.
Best for: Mac users who want a quick menu bar glance at the date and upcoming events.
