About BusyCal

BusyCal, from BusyMac, is a feature-rich calendar for people who live on the Mac and iPhone. It works with iCloud, Google, Exchange and CalDAV accounts and offers more views and controls than Apple Calendar: list, day, week, month and year views, a customisable info panel, tags, travel time, graphical event templates, to-dos that roll over until done, natural-language input, and weather with an eight-day forecast, sunrise, sunset and moon phases right in the calendar. A menu bar mini calendar keeps upcoming events within reach. It is sold as a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial, and it is also included in a Setapp subscription. It runs on macOS and iOS only, so households or teams with Android or Windows users will need a different shared calendar underneath. The design is more traditional than newer apps, but long-time users value its stability and the absence of a mandatory subscription.

Best for: Mac and iPhone users who want a powerful calendar without a subscription.
