About Klarna
Klarna is one of the largest buy now, pay later providers, available in the US, the UK, much of Europe, Australia and elsewhere. Its main option, Pay in 4, splits an order into four interest-free payments collected every two weeks, with the first taken when the order ships. Depending on the country, you can also pay in full, pay within 30 days, or spread larger purchases over monthly plans that may carry interest. Pay in 4 uses a soft credit check, and late fees in the US are capped as a share of the order. The Klarna app works as a shopping hub with cashback offers, and Klarna cards and Apple Pay support let you use its plans at stores that don't offer Klarna at checkout. It is free for shoppers, with money made from merchant fees, interest and late fees. Klarna runs on the web and in Android and iOS apps.
Best for: Shoppers who want several payment options, including pay in 30 days, at a very wide range of stores.
