About Loggly
Loggly is a cloud log management service owned by SolarWinds, positioned as the more analytics-heavy sibling of Papertrail. It collects logs from servers, applications and cloud services without agents, parses common formats automatically, and lets you search, filter, chart and build dashboards on the fields it extracts. Alerts can be sent to Slack, PagerDuty and other tools, and higher plans add archiving to Amazon S3 and overage protection for traffic spikes. It fits teams that want structured log analytics without running Elasticsearch themselves. Compared with newer platforms it offers less correlation with metrics and traces, and daily volume caps on plans need watching. There is a limited free Lite plan, and paid plans are sold by daily log volume and retention, billed annually, with a fully featured free trial. It is a hosted web service.
