About MeetingBar
MeetingBar puts your current or next calendar event in the macOS menu bar, with a countdown, and turns the meeting link inside the event into a one-click join button. It reads any account synced to Apple's Calendar app (iCloud, Google, Exchange, Office 365 and others) or connects to Google Calendar directly, and recognises links for more than 50 services, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Discord. The menu lists today's and tomorrow's events, and you can hide all-day, declined or link-less events, get notifications or full-screen reminders before a meeting starts, join the nearest meeting with a global shortcut, and trigger Shortcuts or AppleScript when you join. It is not a full calendar: you can't create or edit events in it. MeetingBar is free and Apache-licensed, available from the Mac App Store, Homebrew or GitHub, and is funded through Patreon and optional in-app purchases. It needs macOS 12 or later.
Best for: Mac users with back-to-back video calls who want the next meeting one click away.
