About Prelora

Prelora is a desktop planner for Linux that puts three small tools in one window: a GTD-style task list with Inbox, Next, Scheduled, Someday and Focus views, live countdown timers with snooze options, and a month calendar for repeating reminders. It works entirely offline. There is no email sign-up; instead you create a local account whose ID acts as the key to your encrypted data, which also means a lost ID can't be recovered by the developer. Encrypted backups can be exported from the settings. The core task, timer and reminder features are free with no limits, and a low-cost Pro year adds extras such as a Kanban view, custom snooze presets, more alert sounds and webhooks; it is a one-off payment that does not renew. It is packaged for Flathub, Snap, AppImage, .deb and .rpm. It is a young, small app, so expect fewer integrations and no phone or web version.

Best for: Linux users who want GTD lists, timers and reminders offline without creating a cloud account.
