About Rollbar

Rollbar is a hosted error tracker that captures exceptions from JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, .NET, mobile apps and more, groups them into items with automatic fingerprinting, and shows which deploy or code version introduced them. Its real-time feed, deploy tracking and telemetry trail of events before a crash help teams spot regressions right after a release, and it can resolve or reopen items automatically per version. Integrations cover Slack, Jira, GitHub, PagerDuty and source maps for front-end code, session replay covers browser apps, and an AI agent called Resolve can open a pull request with a proposed fix. It is more focused than Sentry: there is no full tracing or log product, which keeps it simple but means you will need other tools for performance work. A free plan includes a limited monthly number of occurrences; paid plans scale by event volume and add features like advanced grouping rules and longer retention. It is a hosted web service.
