About Shop
Shop is Shopify's consumer app. It started as a package tracker and grew into a shopping destination: you can browse and buy from independent brands that run on Shopify, check out with saved Shop Pay details, and follow every order's delivery in one feed. Tracking works for orders from almost any store, because you can connect your email inbox for automatic tracking or paste in a tracking number by hand. Shoppers can earn and spend Shop Cash rewards on eligible purchases and split larger orders into instalments with Shop Pay Installments where it's offered. The app is free for shoppers; Shopify earns from the merchants. It runs on iOS and Android, with a web version at shop.app. It suits people who already buy from direct-to-consumer brands and want one place for receipts and parcels, but its catalogue is limited to Shopify merchants, so it's not a replacement for a general marketplace like Amazon.
Best for: Shoppers who buy from independent Shopify brands and want order tracking in one app.
