About Timely

Timely, from Memory, replaces timers with a private memory tracker that logs the apps, documents, sites, meetings and calls you work on. You review a timeline of that activity, and its AI-assisted AutoSheet suggests time entries for projects, which you confirm or edit; managers only see the entries people submit, not the raw activity. On top of that sit project budgets, billable and non-billable reporting, team capacity and planning, and integrations with calendars and project tools. It targets consultancies, agencies and software businesses where accurate billable hours matter and people forget to start timers. Plans are per user per month: Starter is capped at a few users and projects, Premium and Unlimited add more users, automation and controls, and there is a free trial rather than a free plan. It runs on the web, with desktop apps for Mac and Windows and mobile apps for iOS and Android. It costs noticeably more than timer-based tools.

Best for: Consultancies and agencies that lose billable hours to forgotten timers.
