About WalkMe
WalkMe is a digital adoption platform used mostly by large organisations to help employees and customers get through software such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP and ServiceNow. It overlays step-by-step walk-throughs, tooltips, pop-ups and an on-screen menu on web, desktop and mobile apps, and can automate repetitive steps or fill in forms. On the analytics side it shows which applications and features people actually use, where they drop off in forms and workflows, and where licences are going unused. Newer releases add contextual AI assistance and AI-generated content. There is a separate offer for employee-facing and customer-facing deployments, both sold through custom quotes rather than public plans. WalkMe keeps data centres in the US and EU, supports SSO, white-labelling and PII censorship, and offers native SDKs for iOS and Android apps.
Best for: Large enterprises rolling out SAP, Salesforce or Workday who need guidance and adoption analytics at scale.
Pros and cons
What works
- Works across third-party enterprise apps, including SAP GUI on Windows
- Usage analytics help find unused licences and form drop-offs
- US and EU data centres plus PII censorship controls
Why people leave
- Quote-only pricing aimed at large contracts
- Behavioural segments are capped at 10 per system
- More setup and admin than lightweight SaaS onboarding tools
