About Drip

Drip is an email marketing automation tool aimed at ecommerce brands. It collects shopper activity such as product views, carts and orders from the store, and uses that data for segmentation, personalised emails and automated workflows like abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome and win-back sequences. Native integrations cover popular platforms including Shopify and WooCommerce, and a JavaScript snippet tracks on-site behaviour and powers sign-up forms and pop-ups. SMS to US numbers can be added alongside email. Developers get a REST API with OAuth 2, batch endpoints and a dedicated Shopper Activity API for custom storefronts. Pricing scales with the number of contacts, with a free trial and no free plan. Compared with general newsletter tools it puts more weight on store data and revenue reporting, but it has fewer non-ecommerce features. It suits small and mid-size online stores that want automated, data-driven email without an enterprise platform. It is a hosted web app.

Best for: Small and mid-size online stores wanting automated email driven by shopper behaviour.
