About Gorgias
Gorgias is a customer support platform made for online stores. It pulls order data from Shopify and other ecommerce platforms into every conversation, so agents can see orders, issue refunds, edit orders and apply discounts without leaving the help desk. Email, chat, social comments and messages, SMS and voice land in one inbox, and its AI agent can answer questions such as order status and returns, and recommend products. It was founded in Paris in 2015 and is now one of the most popular help desks in the Shopify ecosystem. Pricing is based on monthly ticket volume rather than seats, so you can add agents freely, but costs rise with ticket count and AI interactions are billed on top. It is a poor fit for non-ecommerce businesses. It runs in the browser with mobile apps. It suits Shopify and other online stores that want support tied tightly to order data.
Best for: Shopify and other ecommerce brands that want support tied to order data.
