After a short questionnaire it matches you with a licensed counsellor, psychologist, social worker or therapist from a network of more than 31,000 providers, and you can switch if the fit is wrong. You can talk with your therapist through asynchronous messages, live chat, phone calls or scheduled video sessions, and members also get free access to weekly group seminars and worksheets. It covers individual therapy for adults, plus separate offerings for couples and teens. Payment is a weekly-priced membership billed every four weeks, with the rate depending on location and therapist availability, and you can cancel at any time. It mostly does not take insurance, and it does not offer psychiatry or prescribe medication. It suits people who want to start therapy quickly and flexibly from a phone or computer, and it runs on the web, iPhone and Android.
