DevCycle has been acquired. Dynatrace purchased the DevCycle platform in January 2026; it is still sold under the DevCycle name.

About DevCycle

DevCycle is a hosted feature flag platform built around OpenFeature, the open standard for flag APIs, so code written against it can move to another provider with fewer changes. It offers targeting rules, percentage rollouts, edge-evaluated flags for low latency, an MCP server and CLI for developer workflows, and basic experiment metrics. It grew out of Taplytics, a mobile A/B testing company, and in January 2026 Dynatrace bought the DevCycle platform, which now runs as part of Dynatrace while keeping its own site and plans for now. The Free plan includes unlimited seats and a monthly client-side user allowance; paid Developer, Business and Enterprise plans raise limits and add governance, priced by monthly active users. It is a reasonable pick for teams that want a standards-based managed service, though its future roadmap depends on how Dynatrace integrates it. It runs in the browser with SDKs for web, mobile and server.

Best for: Teams wanting managed flags built on the OpenFeature standard.
