About GO Feature Flag

GO Feature Flag is a small open-source feature flag project that started as a Go library and grew into a standalone relay proxy usable from many languages through OpenFeature providers. You define flags in a YAML, JSON or TOML file, stored wherever you like, such as a Git repository, S3, Kubernetes ConfigMap or HTTP endpoint, and the service polls it and evaluates flags for your apps. It supports targeting rules, percentage and progressive rollouts, scheduled changes, A/B variations and exporting evaluation data to analytics or storage systems for later analysis. A flag editor helps write configuration files. It is completely free under the MIT licence, with no paid tier, and is maintained by a small team of contributors. It suits developers who want flags without a vendor or database, but it lacks the dashboards, approvals and support of commercial platforms. It runs self-hosted, as a library, or as a container.

Best for: Developers who want simple file-based flags without a vendor.
