About Statsig

Statsig was founded by former Facebook engineers to bring that company's style of large-scale experimentation to everyone. Its core is an A/B testing engine with features such as CUPED variance reduction, sequential testing and automatic guardrail metrics, tied to feature flags and dynamic configs so every release can be measured. Around it, Statsig offers product analytics, web analytics and session replay, and a warehouse-native mode that runs analysis on your own Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks or Redshift data. It is used by consumer apps and AI companies that ship constantly. The Developer plan is free with a monthly event allowance, unlimited flag checks and session replays; Pro has a flat monthly fee plus overage per event, and Enterprise is custom. Statsig was acquired by OpenAI in 2025 and continues to sell the platform to other customers. Its statistics-heavy interface takes some learning for non-technical teams. It runs in the browser with SDKs for most languages.

Best for: Product and engineering teams that want rigorous experiments tied to every release.
