About Flipt

Flipt is an open-source feature flag tool built around Git. In Flipt v2, flag definitions live in your repositories, so changes made through its UI become commits and pull requests that go through normal review and CI, and environments map to branches. It runs as a single self-hosted binary or container, evaluates flags quickly through REST and gRPC APIs, supports OpenFeature, and has client-side SDKs that evaluate flags locally. The open-source edition is free forever with unlimited flags, Git workflows and real-time updates; Flipt Pro adds team features and support for a monthly fee, with a 14-day trial. It suits platform and DevOps teams that already manage infrastructure through GitOps and want flags under the same process. Teams that want a hosted service, built-in experiments or a dashboard aimed at product managers should look elsewhere.
