About LogicMonitor
LogicMonitor is a hosted monitoring platform for IT operations teams that look after a mix of on-premises hardware and cloud services. Lightweight collectors discover devices automatically and pull metrics from servers, network gear, storage arrays, virtual machines, containers and the major clouds, and the same console adds log analysis, website and synthetic checks, real user monitoring and endpoint monitoring as add-ons. Its Edwin AI layer groups alert storms into incidents and can suggest or run remediation steps. It is aimed at mid-size and large enterprises and managed service providers rather than small dev teams: pricing is per Hybrid Unit, a licensing unit that maps to a device, cloud resource or volume of metrics, in three tiers with a 15-day trial and quotes for larger deployments. Compared with Datadog it leans more toward infrastructure and network monitoring than application tracing, and compared with open-source tools like Zabbix it trades licence cost for less setup and maintenance.
Best for: Enterprise IT and MSP teams monitoring a large mix of on-prem network gear, servers and cloud resources..
