About MailPoet

MailPoet is an email marketing plugin that runs inside WordPress, owned by Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com and WooCommerce. You build newsletters, post notifications that send new blog posts automatically, welcome emails and WooCommerce automations such as abandoned cart, first purchase and order follow-ups, all from the WordPress dashboard, with subscriber lists stored in your own database. Sign-up forms can be placed as pop-ups, slide-ins or fixed bars. Emails can go through MailPoet's own sending service, included on its plans, or your own SMTP provider. A free Starter plan covers a small list and monthly email cap; paid Business and Agency plans remove MailPoet branding, raise limits and allow multiple sites, and a Creator option suits those who prefer to send through their own service. It is only useful if your site runs on WordPress, analytics are simpler than standalone tools, and large lists can add load to your hosting.

Best for: WordPress and WooCommerce site owners who want email managed from their dashboard.
