About Haptik
Haptik is an Indian conversational AI company, majority-owned by Jio Platforms since 2019, that builds AI agents for large consumer brands. Its agents handle customer service, sales, bookings and lead qualification over WhatsApp, voice calls, RCS business messaging, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and website chat. Companies can feed in their own documents, sites and product catalogues for answers and recommendations, pick from several model families including GPT, Llama and Claude, and pass tricky cases to human agents in an omnichannel inbox or an existing live chat tool. Voice agents are pitched for high call volumes with routing based on what the caller needs. Analytics dashboards track resolution, satisfaction and common questions. Haptik is strongest with Indian and Asian enterprises in retail, travel, financial services, telecom and education, and supports many languages. There is no self-serve plan or public price list; deployments start with a demo and are priced by contract, often with Haptik's team helping to build the agents.
Best for: Large consumer brands, especially in India, automating WhatsApp and voice support.
