About Keboola

Keboola is a cloud data platform that bundles ingestion, storage, transformation and orchestration so a team can run its data stack from one account. It offers connectors to a very large number of sources, change data capture for databases, transformations in SQL and Python (plus R, Julia and Spark on paid projects), a visual flow builder, pre-built templates, and data apps for sharing results. Each project comes with a managed Snowflake backend, and an MCP server lets AI assistants query and build pipelines. There is a free plan with monthly compute minutes and top-ups charged per minute, while enterprise contracts add data sharing, a catalogue, dev and production branches, and the option to choose the cloud provider or host in a private cloud. Keboola is based in Prague and is popular with mid-sized companies in Europe. It suits teams that want a complete data stack without assembling separate ingestion, warehouse and orchestration tools.

Best for: Teams that want ingestion, storage and transformations in one data platform without stitching tools.

Pros and cons

What works

  • Includes a managed warehouse backend
  • SQL and Python transformations plus a visual flow builder
  • Very large connector catalogue

Why people leave

  • Free plan projects run only in Azure EU and lack data sharing
  • Enterprise pricing is not published
  • All-in-one design is more than needed if you only want connectors
