About Matillion

Matillion is a hosted data integration platform that pulls data from SaaS apps and databases into a cloud warehouse, then cleans and reshapes it there. Pipelines are built on a visual low-code canvas, with SQL and Python components for the parts that need real code, and each project is stored in Git. It targets Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift, and it covers loading, transformation and scheduling in one tool rather than splitting them across several products. The company, founded in Manchester in 2011, now sells the platform under the name Maia Foundation (previously Data Productivity Cloud) and is pushing Maia, a set of AI agents that build and maintain pipelines for you. The older self-managed Matillion ETL product is still offered. Pricing runs on consumption credits charged for pipeline run time, sold in Developer, Teams and Scale editions, and it can be billed through AWS, Azure or Snowflake marketplaces. It suits data teams at mid-size and large companies rather than hobbyists.
