About Talend (Qlik Talend Cloud)
Talend is an enterprise data integration suite best known for its visual job designer, which lets data engineers build ETL and ELT pipelines by connecting components rather than writing everything by hand. Qlik bought the company, and the product line now centres on Qlik Talend Cloud, which combines batch and real-time pipelines, change data capture, API integration, data quality checks, lineage and governance. It can run in the cloud, on your own servers or in a hybrid setup, which matters to firms with data residency rules. Existing Talend Data Fabric customers can keep using it, and it is still offered for new purchases. The free Talend Open Studio edition many people learned on is no longer the focus of the line-up. It suits larger organisations that want integration, cleansing and governance from one vendor; smaller teams often find it heavy. Pricing is by edition and subscribed usage capacity and is only available through Qlik's sales team, with a free cloud trial to start.
Best for: Enterprises that need integration, data quality and governance from one vendor, in cloud or on-premises.
