About Pendo

Pendo pairs product analytics with tools to act on what you learn inside the product. A snippet tracks page and feature usage retroactively, and the same platform lets you build in-app guides, tooltips, announcements and NPS surveys without engineering help, collect feature requests, and analyse usage of AI agents. It is popular with B2B SaaS companies, and with IT teams that use it to drive adoption of internal software. The classic free plan has been replaced by Novus, a separate AI-native free product in open beta that instruments an app from its code repository. Paid Pendo plans are quote-based and priced by monthly active users, which tends to put it out of reach for very small teams. Analysis is solid for adoption and feature usage questions but less flexible than dedicated event tools for complex funnels. It runs in the browser, supporting web apps, mobile apps and desktop apps through SDKs.

Best for: B2B SaaS and IT teams that want analytics and in-app onboarding in one tool.
