About Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the enterprise marketing suite from Salesforce. Its email side, Marketing Cloud Engagement, handles very large sends with dynamic content, a shared content library, journeys across email, SMS, push and ads, data extensions for complex audience data, and detailed reporting. The newer Marketing Cloud Next editions build marketing automation directly on the Salesforce platform with Agentforce AI agents, Data Cloud and campaign attribution, so marketing works from the same records as sales and service. Pricing is per organisation per month, with Growth and Advanced editions, plus add-ons; it is far more expensive than small-business tools and sold through annual contracts. Implementation usually requires specialists who know its scripting language and data model, and the various Marketing Cloud products can be confusing to tell apart. For large companies already on Salesforce that send to millions of people, it is a standard choice; smaller teams are better served elsewhere.

Best for: Large companies on Salesforce sending complex, high-volume campaigns.
